We are a group of former ministers, ambassadors and senior officials from EU institutions and EU member states, many of whom have served in the region, calling for effective EU action to promote peace in Palestine and Israel. We emphasize that the EU and its MS must adhere to the EU’s founding principles, implement international law and enforce UN resolutions and rulings of the International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court. For more details see our mission statement.

We Advocate for urgent changes in EU and Member State policy, in the light of Israel’s systematic and pervasive violations of international humanitarian and human rights law against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank including Jerusalem.

We call upon the EU and its MS to immediately, inter alia, ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements, sanction extremists, suspend the trade provisions of the EU-Israel Association Agreement and ban arms sales. For more details see Demands.
